I really loved this book

Nell Ledbetter is an amazing storyteller. In her new book, The Elevator:The Draft, she developed characters that I could relate to and care about. Through her careful crafting of each main character, I actually felt their fears, their moments of terror, and their ever-present courage. Quite often, I was on the edge of my seat, and the book was hard to put down. I cannot wait for the next book in the series to come out. Excellent read!

The Elevator was a wild ride! The action scenes were palpable and the whole book is written in a very visual style. Crazy twists and turns, some tragedy and unexpected redemption too. A very exciting book to read - can't wait for the rest of the series! 👀 👀

I never wanted to put it down!

This book is fire. I’ve averaged 3–4 books a day for the last five years, but with my preschooler now reading independently, I’ve nearly graduated from picture books entirely ;). Reading side by side, he’s watched me tear through this suspenseful, action-packed thriller and seen firsthand that reading can be genuinely exciting. I honestly couldn’t put it down, and while he’s more eager than ever to pick up his books, I’m even more eager for book two in this The Elevator series!

Excellent Sci-fi Novel! The characters are so well developed that you care what happens to them. The action will keep you on the edge of your seat. The character interactions will pull your heart strings. It’s a great ride filled with vivid descriptions of scenery, characters, action and a full range of emotions. Worth every penny! Can’t wait for the sequel!
